In the face of uncertainty, some moments define the Christian faith, test their convictions, and ignite the flame of courage within. Such a moment arose when the Dupont Clinic, a facility offering all-trimester abortion services, announced its opening in the heart of Beverly Hills. However, a remarkable display of resilience followed as the pro-life movement, led by people of faith, stood up against the clinic. Pastors, congregants, and organizations determined to protect the sanctity of life united in a rally outside the clinic in Beverly Hills on Saturday, July 29.

The Dupont Clinic, known for its controversial all-trimester abortion services, was scheduled to begin operations on September 1, 2023. This abortion facility proudly boasts a range of amenities designed to provide relaxation and comfort to patients in private consultation rooms, including aromatherapy, plush couches, televisions, and Wifi connectivity, while delivering the "highest standard of medical care" to its patients. Oddly, like all abortion facilities, the unborn are denied medical care.

"We are here to advocate for the rights of women within the womb. This is not a political issue; this is a moral issue, this is a biblical issue, and that's why we stand." Pastor John Randall - Calvary South OC

The action against the Dupont Clinic extended beyond the rally. Christians and other faith-based organizations embraced their role as advocates for life, employing various strategies to challenge the clinic's presence in the community. These efforts included engaging local legislators, raising awareness through social media campaigns, and pastors urging their congregants to be present at the projected clinic's doorsteps in Beverly Hills.

Raising a child is not a lifetime of heartache.

The resistance against the Dupont Clinic is a testament to the power of faith, unity, and a relentless pursuit of the sanctity of life. It was a battle fought with conviction, compassion, and unwavering determination. The victory achieved by the pro-life movement is not just a triumph over an abortion facility but a victory for life itself. It serves as a reminder that when Christians and communities stand up for the unborn, guided by their faith, God will intervene. Ultimately the building management rescinded its lease to the Dupont Clinic, representing a turning point, igniting hope for a future where every life is cherished and protected.

Below is a statement from Stop Dupont Clinic:

Campaign To Shut Down DuPont Clinic Successful July 29, 2023

According to an email from the Deputy City Manager of Beverly Hills, the building management company at 8920 Wilshire Blvd, Beverly Hills, has rescinded its lease to DuPont Clinic.

Initial efforts to stop DuPont Clinic included meeting with the Beverly Hills City Council and California state senators to bring awareness of the extreme nature of DuPont Clinic and the many negative impacts it would have on the community. The official petition against DuPont Clinic garnered hundreds of signatures from concerned Californians in a matter of weeks, and Survivors of the Abortion Holocaust, a pro-life activist group, were in the middle of a month-long sidewalk campaign directly in front of DuPont Clinic when the city's email was issued.

DuPont Clinic was preparing to open for business on September 1, 2023, and invested thousands into building permits and renovations, but had not received licensure from the California Department of Public Health.

"We are grateful to God for this victory for innocent lives. In accord with the historic reputation of the City of Beverly Hills as a refuge for the innocent and oppressed, the community showed decisive opposition to DuPont Clinic's cruel and extreme agenda. Mere weeks before inhumane late-term abortions of viable fetuses were set to begin, California's first elective third trimester abortion clinic was defeated."
